Step by step

How to use this

  1. Type the four scores. Seat 1 dealt the first hand, so in South 4 the dealer is seat 4.
  2. Pick your seat, then add the honba and the riichi sticks already out.
  3. Planning a riichi? Tick it. You pay 1,000 and win your own stick back, and riichi counts toward the han.
  4. Read each card. It names the smallest hand that works. Anything bigger works too.
  5. Copy the link to send the exact spot to a friend.
Read it right

The rules it assumes

  • A ron off a player you need to pass counts twice. You gain what they lose. A tsumo costs the dealer double.
  • Each honba adds 300 to a ron or 100 per payer on a tsumo. Every stick on the table goes to the winner.
  • Ties go by seat order from the first dealer, like Tenhou and Mahjong Soul. Switch to "Ties don't count" for rules that split a tied place.
  • A draw costs the noten players 3,000, split among the tenpai players. Your riichi makes you tenpai.
  • Only this hand counts. A dealer win or dealer tenpai keeps the game going. So does a West round when nobody reaches 30,000 on Tenhou or Mahjong Soul.
  • Hands run from 1 han 30 fu to yakuman, with fu up to 70. Values match the score calculator.
