Thank you

First, to every member of the Club Argentino de Mahjong. The club brought me to the game and let me grow in it, and it keeps bringing new and different players to the table.

To the online resources that, in 2010, opened Japanese mahjong to people who don't read Japanese: Wikipedia, the Japanese Mahjong Wiki (now Riichi Wiki), and ReachMahjong.com, and to the people who ran them, for their work and their constant help to the Western community.

To the Osamuko community, now Osamuko's Mahjong Blog, for the strategies, terms, articles, and ideas I didn't know. And for hundreds of games and hours of fun together.

To C-EGG and Tsunoda Shingo (角田真吾), for creating and running Tenhou, my favorite online mahjong server.

To the organizations that keep the riichi circuit alive. To the 日本プロ麻雀協会 (Nihon Pro Mahjong Kyoukai), my organization. To the 日本プロ麻雀連盟 (Japan Professional Mahjong League), the 最高位戦日本プロ麻雀協会 (Saikouisen), and the M-League. And outside Japan, to the World Riichi Championship (WRC) and the European Mahjong Association (EMA).

Last, to you, for the time and the patience to learn with this book. No book replaces practice at the table, but everything I could gather on theory, rules, and terms is here.
